Best Fashion Marketing Agencies for DTC

Best fashion marketing agencies for DTC, grouped by the job you are hiring for

The best fashion marketing agency depends on which job you are hiring for. Most agencies that rank for the term do acquisition, creative or PR, and only a handful run email, SMS or loyalty. This list groups fifteen agencies by what they do, notes who publishes pricing, and names the fashion clients each shows on its own site.

Which kind of agency are you actually hiring?

"Fashion marketing agency" covers at least four different businesses, and the ranking lists treat them as one. An agency that casts celebrities for a campaign and an agency that builds Klaviyo flows both call themselves fashion marketing agencies. They solve different problems, cost different amounts, and are bought at different stages of a brand's life.

We checked the fifteen agencies that rank for the term, plus our own, against each one's own website on 4 October 2026. Only what appears on those sites is used here, and where a site does not state something, this post says "not stated" rather than filling the gap from a directory.

The split that came out of that check is simple. Four agencies name email, SMS or lifecycle work as a service. Three are built around paid acquisition and search. Four are creative, branding and production studios. Four lead with PR, celebrity and influencer work. One ranks for the query but describes its work as beauty and consumer goods.

The practical point is that most of the agencies on this list do not do retention at all, and that is not a criticism. It means a brand that wants a second order from existing customers is hiring from a much shorter list than the search results suggest, and a brand that wants a campaign shot or a celebrity placement should not expect those agencies to also run its Klaviyo account. Pick the group first, then the agency.

Do you need an agency that runs email, SMS and loyalty?

Four agencies in the set name owned-channel retention work on their own sites. They are not interchangeable, because for three of them retention sits inside a larger offer.

Top Growth Marketing describes itself as a "DTC fashion marketing agency scaling apparel, footwear, accessories" and runs "Full-funnel fashion programs: paid + email + influencer + VIP drops". Its retention work is Klaviyo email and SMS, with welcome, cart, browse, post-purchase and win-back flows named, plus "VIP drop campaigns (early-access SMS for new collections)". Named fashion clients are Hale Bob Apparel, Haculla Clothing and SPRWMN. It is the only agency in this set that publishes a price range: "$2,000-$10,000/month" on a month-to-month contract with a first-month money-back guarantee, for brands doing $100K to $25M in annual revenue (Top Growth Marketing fashion page, 4 October 2026). HQ is not stated on the site. It does not name loyalty, reviews or subscriptions.

Hunter Digital in NYC is "100% focused on helping fashion, fitness, and homeware and furniture brands scale with targeted paid media", and its Email & SMS page names Klaviyo, Mailchimp and HubSpot. Fashion clients shown include Ramy Brook, Soludos, Adidas, Krimson Klover, IBKUL, Bench, Gottex Studio and Nununu. Email and SMS is a secondary service beside paid search, Google Shopping, paid social and connected TV. Pricing is not stated, and loyalty, reviews and subscriptions are not named.

Avex at 368 9th Ave, New York, calls itself "NYC's #1 Shopify Plus Partner" and is the only agency besides us to name "Loyalty & VIP Programs", "Subscription Strategy" and "Lifecycle Optimization". Its first-listed services are technology strategy, Shopify migrations, CRO and analytics, so retention is one strand of a build-and-optimise offer. Fashion is not claimed as a specialism, but the work page is heavily fashion: KHAITE, FILA, Hugo Boss, Kith, Brandon Blackwood, Marchesa, Kit and Ace and TYR. Pricing is not stated.

BMO Media is our own agency, so read this paragraph with that in mind. Our entire service list is owned-channel retention: email, SMS, loyalty, reviews, push and subscriptions, run on Klaviyo as one programme. We are the only agency in this set whose whole service list is retention, and the only one that names reviews or push. The fashion clients verifiable on our site are YoungLA, PLEASURES, Birdy Grey and Darc Sport; the YLA Rewards case study, the Birdy Grey case study and the Darc Sport case study show the work. We do not do creative, paid media or PR. Every engagement starts with a complimentary audit and a diagnostic, ships in two-week cycles and reports on revenue you can attribute. We do not publish pricing either, which is a fair thing to hold against us alongside everyone else.

If you want email and SMS run inside a paid-media relationship, Top Growth Marketing and Hunter Digital are the two to compare, and Top Growth Marketing's published range makes that comparison easier. If you want loyalty or subscriptions built into a Shopify Plus replatform, Avex names both. If you want retention as the whole engagement, that is us, and our retention marketing agencies list compares us against the specialists outside fashion.

Do you need acquisition and performance first?

Three agencies in the set are built around paid acquisition and search, and none of them lists email or SMS as a service. That is a feature if acquisition is the problem you are solving.

Stryde, based in Utah, is the clearest fit for a specific revenue band: "We primarily work with D2C fashion and apparel brands generating $1M-$15M in annual revenue." Services are ecommerce SEO, paid search, AI search optimisation (AEO and GEO) and an ecommerce marketing audit. Founded 1 April 2013. Named clients are Wilson Diamonds, Sweetsalt and Lizard Tail Belts. Pricing is not stated.

RISE DTC calls itself "The World's 1st Performance-Only Agency for DTC Brands" and runs performance marketing, creative, AI and tech, with paid ads management and attribution. Fashion is not named as a specialism, but its anonymised case studies include a children's clothing brand, a fashion accessories retailer and a women's activewear brand, and Tenth Street Hats is named. It does not publish figures, but it does publish its model: "We don't charge monthly retainers or a percentage of ad spend - we only earn when we generate measurable growth for your brand" (RISE DTC site, 4 October 2026). HQ is not stated.

Stylophane in NYC has "over 20 years of experience" and claims "300+ fashion, beauty and luxury brands", with Gucci, Canada Goose, Free People, Superga, Hunter Boots and Ray Ban among the clients shown. Services run across social media marketing, paid advertising, influencer marketing, search advertising, affiliate management, retargeting, merchandising technology, and customer journey and advanced attribution. Its one-line summary is "We help grow online sales." Pricing is not stated.

A retention agency is a complement to any of these three, not a substitute. They fill the top of the funnel; the question of what happens to those customers after the first order sits with a different vendor, and none of the three claims otherwise.

Do you need creative, branding and production?

Four agencies in the set are creative and brand studios. None of them names loyalty, SMS or reviews, and two touch email only at the template and creative level.

RIOT at 438 W 37th St, New York, is "a full service NYC Creative Agency and Production Studio transforming brands through visionary storytelling", founded in the summer of 2015. Services are branding and identity, creative and campaigns, content and production, digital and experience, creative strategy, video and production, photography and SEO. Industries are luxury, fashion, beauty and wellness, and sports and fitness, and clients shown include Coach and Tiffany & Co. alongside Clinique and Nutrafol. Pricing is not stated.

DTE Studio sits on the 85th floor of One World Trade Center and works across "fashion, beauty, hospitality, lifestyle and tech": strategic consulting, digital solutions, content and brand design, branding, campaigns, celebrity partnerships, website design and packaging. Clients shown are Hermes, Irina Shayk x Tamara Mellon and Macrene Actives. Pricing is not stated.

VMGROUPE at 50 W 17th Street, New York, has run since 2006 across "beauty, fine jewelry, fashion, aviation, real estate, hospitality, and everything luxury". Its service list is long: brand strategy, packaging, art direction, advertising, CGI, ecommerce packshots, website design, Shopify development, celebrity seeding, influencer, retail design and events. It also names Email Template Creation and Creative Email Marketing, which is the creative side of email rather than the flows and segmentation. Clients shown are Marli New York, Michael M, Tom Ford Beauty and iT Cosmetics. Pricing is not stated.

The Charles Group at 200 Broadway in Lower Manhattan, with offices in Chicago and London, is the broadest of the four: strategy, media, branding, content and technology, including brand strategy, media buying, performance creative, UX, web development, content production, CRM and programmatic. Founded 2011. Fashion clients shown include Birkenstock, Sam Edelman, Alpha Industries and Russell Athletic, with Aveda and Cartier alongside. It is the one agency here that states its engagement model, a "Flex Model" of project-based, retainer or Agency of Record work, though it attaches no prices. CRM is the only retention-adjacent service named.

Do you need PR, celebrity and influencer reach?

Four agencies lead with earned media and influence, and one more ranks for the term without claiming fashion.

BL8K, with offices in Los Angeles, New York and London, "offers high end creative services for all forms of digital marketing" across fashion, beauty and culture: PR, creative production, celebrity and editorial placement, digital and creative marketing, and "Celebrity and creator campaigns, casting and partnerships". The clients shown are media and talent, including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, V Magazine, NYLON, Spotify and Capitol Records; no apparel brand is named on the site. Pricing is not stated.

Lividini & Co., founded by Jaqui Lividini with "20 years" behind it, describes its work as fashion PR, public relations, communications, retail strategy and brand development. Services are communications and earned media, influencer and creator strategy, media moments and experiential events, celebrity engagement, partnerships, launch planning and brand audits. The fashion client list is the deepest in this group: Coach, Halston, Polo, Amsale, Karl, MCM, Vera Bradley, Neiman Marcus, Fossil and Tiffany. HQ and pricing are not stated.

Amra & Elma in New York, with offices in LA and SF, runs social media management, influencer marketing, media buying, PR, SEO, photo and video production, branding and events. Fashion and beauty appear in a list of more than 30 industries, and the clients shown are Net-a-Porter, Bulgari and Il Makiage. Pricing is not stated.

Netgains / I Love Fashion Retail is "specialized only in fashion and retail", with offices in NYC, London, Sydney and Dubai and a history "Since 2004". Its service list runs the full funnel: fashion ecommerce web design and development on Shopify, Magento and WooCommerce, SEO, social media marketing, Facebook and Google paid ads, influencer marketing, Amazon PPC, affiliate, fashion copywriting and CRO. "Email Marketing Funnels" is the one retention service named. Clients shown are Zavi, Giant Vintage and Mrs Darcy. HQ and pricing are not stated.

Socialfly, at 231 West 29th St in New York, ranks for the query but does not claim fashion on its site. Its work filters show beauty and consumer goods, and the named clients are Alex and Ani in jewelry and IL Makiage, DevaCurl, Wet Brush and Invisibobble in beauty. It describes itself as "a female-founded and led team of experts" and offers marketing strategy and consultation, social media management, influencer marketing, creative services, paid media and SEO. Pricing is not stated. Worth knowing before you book a call.

How do you shortlist, and what should you ask about price?

Start with the job. If the brief is a campaign, a rebrand or a celebrity placement, the creative and PR groups are the list and the retention agencies are irrelevant to it. If the brief is new customers at a target cost, the acquisition group is the list. If the brief is a higher repeat rate, more revenue per customer or a loyalty programme that actually gets used, the list is four names long and three of those run it alongside paid media or a Shopify build.

Then ask about pricing early, because almost nobody publishes it. Across sixteen agencies, one states a monthly range (Top Growth Marketing, $2,000 to $10,000 a month, 4 October 2026), one states a performance-only model with no figures (RISE DTC), and one states an engagement structure with no figures (The Charles Group). The other thirteen, including us, say nothing on the site. Get a range on the first call so the second call is about fit rather than affordability.

Ask the retention question directly, even of agencies that do not do retention: who owns the customer after the first order? A good answer from a creative or acquisition agency is a name, often a complementary agency they already work beside. An answer that nobody owns it is the gap most fashion brands are living with.

Finally, ask what they measure. The attributed retention revenue share, or the movement in repeat rate, on a named fashion account is the kind of figure we bring to a first call, and we would expect any retention agency to have an equivalent. For the mechanics of what a retention programme contains, our retention email programmes, loyalty programmes and SMS programme pages set out the scope we work to, and they are a reasonable checklist to hold any of the four retention-capable agencies above against.

Frequently asked questions

Which fashion marketing agencies publish their pricing?

Of the sixteen agencies checked on 4 October 2026, only Top Growth Marketing publishes a range: $2,000 to $10,000 a month, month-to-month, for brands at $100K to $25M in annual revenue. RISE DTC states a performance-only model with no figures and The Charles Group states a project, retainer or agency-of-record structure with no figures. The rest, including BMO Media, do not state pricing.

Do fashion marketing agencies handle email, SMS and loyalty?

Most do not. Of the fifteen agencies that rank for the term, Top Growth Marketing and Hunter Digital run Klaviyo email and SMS inside a paid-media offer, Avex names loyalty, subscription and lifecycle work inside a Shopify Plus build offer, and the other twelve list no retention service or name only email creative, email funnels or CRM.

What is the difference between a fashion marketing agency and a retention agency?

A fashion marketing agency is usually an acquisition, creative or PR business that works in the fashion category. A retention agency works only on the customers a brand already has, through email, SMS, loyalty, reviews, push and subscriptions. The two are complements: one brings the first order, the other earns the second.
